Biography

Dr. Jasmin Evangelista’s clinical practice, teaching, and service have been directed towards empowering others. Her previous practice areas include acute care, community care, clinical case management, and academia. Her research interests consist of increasing students’ confidence and competence when entering the clinical setting. Dr. Evangelista’s nursing and teaching philosophy is founded on a “culturally competent, evidence-based and client-centered” approach that concentrates on communication, advocacy, and compassion.
