The FAU Board of Trustees recently elected Brent Burns as vice chair. FAU’s Board of Trustees is a 13-member group responsible for policy decisions appropriate to the university’s mission, implementation and maintenance of our high-quality education programs, the measurement of performance, the reporting of information, and the provision of input regarding state policy, budgeting and education standards.

A proud FAU alumnus, BrentÌýjoined the Board in January 2018. He is president and chief executive officer of JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a $17.7 billion automotive corporation ranked No. 20 onÌýForbes’ list of America’s Largest Private Companies. For the 22^nd year, JM Family also is ranked among the 100 Best Companies to Work For. Brent’s community involvement includes serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.Ìý
