First Saturday is the third and final phase of your Orientation experience and the official kickoff to Red and Blue Weeks at ÎÞÂëÊÓƵ Atlantic University. Held inside our Football Stadium, this signature event welcomes you into the heart of Owl Nation and sets the tone for your first year.

First Saturday is designed to help you move from arrival to belonging. Through high-energy programming, interactive experiences, and meaningful connections, you will begin building relationships that support your academic success, personal growth, and career aspirations.

Students who attend First Saturday can expect to:

• Experience FAU spirit and traditions inside our stadium, highlighting the pride of Owl Athletics
• Hear directly from university leadership and head coaches, reinforcing what it means to represent FAU
• Connect with fellow students and campus partners in an engaging, immersive environment
• Understand the importance of getting involved early and often to maximize your university experience

During the program, university leaders will emphasize how involvement, leadership, and connection beyond the classroom directly shape student success, retention, and readiness for life after graduation. First Saturday attendance is required for all first-time-in-college students and strongly encouraged for transfer students during their first semester at FAU. Participation ensures you begin your journey connected, confident, and ready to thrive.
