Ms. Mackenzie Mannarino from the Civil, Environmental, and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) Department and the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) student chapter Vice President, Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) student chapter President, and undergraduate student researcher at the Freight Mobility Research Institute (FMRI) has been graciously awarded the Sharon D. Banks Memorial Scholarship by the South ÎÞÂëÊÓƵ WTS Chapter. Named in memory of the chief executive officer of AC Transit in Alameda-Contra Costa County, California, the Sharon D. Banks Memorial Scholarship is awarded to women pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation and transportation-related fields. Ms. Mannarino’s commitment to advancing women’s representation in the transportation industry will encourage others in the CEGE department to do the same.
