Biography

I am a first-year M.A. student in the FAU Sociology Department. Prior to arriving at FAU, I studied Social Impact and Entrepreneurship at Watson Institute at Lynn University with a minor field of study in psychology. My current research interests focus on mental health and societal stigmas impacts on child and human development. My undergraduate thesis project examined how stigma impacted resource availability and accessibility, especially for adolescents and minors. I plan to learn more about sociological factors that play a part in human mental health and wellness. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a career in teaching and sharing knowledge within my research and areas of interest.

Outside of sociology, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, exploring, adventuring, surfing, skateboarding, and just being in nature.
