Audition Elements:
Ensemble auditions allow us to place you into an ensemble where you will find the most reward, and should demonstrate your finest musicianship. While not required, you may perform additional selections beyond the excerpts linked below that display your abilities and artistry.
All auditioners will also perform a simple folk song found on each audition page, adding interpretations to demonstrate your musical personality. You may also change the key or register to suit you, leaving the structure intact.
Audition Process:
Auditions take place August 22nd and 23rd, in-person in room AL 260 on the Boca Raton campus of 无码视频 Atlantic. Please check in 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are unable to attend auditions in-person, contact Dr Prescott directly and we will find a solution. (kpresco2@fau.edu). Audition results will be posted Monday morning, August 24th.听
We simply want to hear you play your best in order to place you for the coming term. This will be an amazing year for the Wind Ensemble, including a tour to the space coast, three world-premieres, visiting artists, and some of the best music every written for band!
